2010 Year in Review
2010 has been one heck of a year for me. And by “heck” I mean that it has been one of the most anticipative, anxious, hopeless, triumphant and ultimately prosperous’ years of my life. From being unemployed slangin’ beats and DJ gigs to pay student loans, to having a salary with a respectable company officed next door to Randy Jackson. From being held back by my inhibiting perfectionism to complete any one project to releasing a Christmas album that received great reviews. Speaking of reviews, I’ve had the honor of being recognized on national magazines, websites, and blogs. The positive feedback and pure knowledge that people dig what I’m cooking propelled me to create Pearland.
Pearland is still i nthe blueprint phase as far as I’m concerned. I have a vision for the company, but my needs to be involved with every step limit me from moving forward as quickly as I’d like to. But I can tell you that I have some very promising projects on the horizon for 2011, that I KNOW you will enjoy!
- Released the crowd favorite Brother Shadrach single “DisGo” for FREE download!
- Established Pearland Music Company and Launched pearlandmusicco.com
- Brother Shadrach mastered the Moonshine EP for the Moonshine Music Cooperative
- Brother Shadrach scored an 8.4 Rating on Music Connection Magazine’s Music Critiques Review Article
- Co-wrote “Kid From The West” on Eye-Que & The Live Assist’s album Before the LP which was released in May
- Brother Shadrach produced and co-wrote Tybox’s “Impossible” which was released on his album Idol Hands in July
- Introduced Pearland’s first artist, Tae Stacks, with his single and music video for “Move“, produced and co-written by Brother Shadrach
- Brother Shadrach produced and Co-wrote songs with Willdy Diamond, Vers Brown, Sara Mioni, Tae Stacks, Eye-Que, Dash from Peach, Alyriki, and the Resonators that have yet to be released.
- Yes, originally released last year but finally made available online is Willdy Diamond’s album F Rank which featured several tracks produced and co-written by Brother Shadrach.
- Was featured in Music Connection again as one of the Top 5 Reviews of the year!!
- Released Holladay a Christmas Beat Tape by Brother Shadrach
