A friend of mine put me on to Slakah the Beatchild’s music a few years ago and I instantly feel in love. The boom-bap of PeteRock and the soul of Musiq Soulchild was the perfect recipe for my taste buds. On top of being a talented instrumentalist and vocalist, he is a cool dude too. Got the opportunity to speak to him at one of his rare Los Angeles shows.
